Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst enables data-driven decision-making across the organisation by designing, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports that translate complex business data into clear, actionable insights. The role works across multiple business domains, including Sales, Product, HR, and Finance, collaborating directly with stakeholders to define requirements, build analytics solutions, and drive adoption of self-service analytics. The role leverages AI-assisted tools as a core part of day-to-day analytical work, using them to accelerate analysis, surface insights, and detect anomalies in business data. This role requires a technically strong analyst with solid SQL and data modelling foundations, a cross-functional mindset, and the curiosity to work effectively across shifting domains and emerging.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft BI technologies, ensuring solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned to business requirements.

  • Build and maintain data models using best practices, working across cloud and on-premise data sources.

  • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, analysts, and subject matter experts across Sales, Product, HR, and Finance to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver analytics solutions that drive business performance.

  • Translate complex business concepts and data into clear, actionable visualisations and insights that stakeholders can use to make informed decisions.

  • Use AI-assisted tools, including LLM-based assistants and AI agents, to accelerate data analysis, insight discovery, and anomaly detection.

  • Act as an advocate for data and analytics across the organisation, driving adoption of self-service analytics and building system-wide analytical capability.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies in analytics and applied AI, making recommendations where relevant to improve the team's tooling and approaches.

Job requirements

Required Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, with demonstrated ability to deliver complex reporting solutions independently and without close direction across multiple domains.

  • Proven experience solving analytical challenges across multiple business domains, such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, or HR, with the ability to adapt quickly to different priorities and stakeholder contexts.

  • Experience translating business requirements into data models, visualisations, and dashboards that are used and trusted by non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with or openness to working with AI-assisted analytics tools in day-to-day analytical work.

  • Experience in a SaaS business, including working knowledge of SaaS-specific metrics such as ARR, churn, and retention, is an advantage.

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for analytics, Python for data analysis, or platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, Azure, or BigQuery is an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong SQL knowledge and data preparation capability, comfortable working across ETL/ELT processes and structuring data for analysis and reporting.

  • Solid understanding of data modelling principles and the ability to apply them to produce accurate, maintainable analytics solutions.

  • Communicates complex data and analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, able to present insights in a way that drives decisions rather than just reporting numbers.

  • Works effectively across business domains and shifting priorities: picks up new contexts quickly, takes initiative without waiting to be directed, and applies a generalist problem-solving approach to get things done regardless of where the need sits.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI is a strong advantage.

  • Actively engages with emerging analytics technologies and applied AI: keeps pace with a fast-moving tooling landscape and continuously develops new skills as part of the role.

We welcome people who value teamwork, stick to their commitments and are curious to explore new ways for achieving mastery. If you believe that you are a good match for the job, just send us your CV in English.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Confidentiality of all applications is assured.
