Development Team Lead (Eclipse) (m/f/d)

As the Development Team Lead of our global development team, you will play a pivotal role in steering the team towards the successful delivery of the Eclipse project. This managerial position requires a strong focus on people management, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive under high-pressure conditions.

Project Eclipse is an independent product for rapid archviz storytelling. This solution will accept and combine scenes directly from any Enscape or V-Ray integration and enable you to enhance your scene quickly, explore design variations, animate the possibilities, and even orchestrate crowds and traffic. Project Eclipse will also work across all the products Chaos supports, so you can hit the ground running and never hit a dead end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead a global team in Prague and Sofia, ensuring cohesive and productive collaboration.
• Project Management: Understand project requirements and ensure they are met, collaborating with all teams involved.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential obstacles and develop solutions to overcome them.
• Communication: Keep all stakeholders fully informed about project progress, regularly providing updates and addressing challenges. Ensure productive communication across all teams cooperating on the project within the company.
• Mentorship: Guide and support team members, fostering a cooperative and successful work environment.
• Technical Oversight: Understand and oversee technical requirements, tools, and deliverables.
• Quality Assurance: With the assistance of the QA team evaluate deliverables, suggest improvements, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Documentation: With the assistance of other teams, support the documentation process, maintain a risk log, and handle necessary reporting.
• Release Management: Participate in the regular release of test and stable versions, ensuring code quality and reliability.

• Technical Skills: Proven experience with developing of the complex application using C++ is a must.
• People Management: Proven experience in managing and leading distributed teams.
• Project Management: Strong understanding of project requirements and the ability to ensure they are met.
• Problem Solving: Forward-thinking approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English. Proficiency in Czech is an advantage.

Technical Stack of Eclipse:

• CMake, Git, Gitlab CI, Python, DirectX - experience is an advantage.

Other Info:

• Business trips to Sofia are not required on a regular basis.
• Direct manager localized in Prague.
• Starting date as soon as possible.
