1. Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and refine the company's strategic planning framework, aligning it with our software products, international market trends, and customer needs.
  • Lead annual planning and collaborate planning exercise across company
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team to define strategic priorities and initiatives. 

2. Operational Excellence:

  • Streamline cross-functional processes and enhance communication channels to improve operational efficiency across multiple international locations.
  • Partner with department heads to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that support our international growth strategy.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance resource allocation in our international operations.

3. Project Management:

  • Lead Post Merger integration of acquisitions
  • Lead and oversee critical strategic projects across the organization, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder satisfaction in an international context.
  • Collaborate with project teams to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress against project milestones and objectives in different global regions.

4. Executive Support:

  • Plan Board meetings, align the agenda and track follow up topics
  • Provide strategic advice and insights to the executive team on critical matters, international market dynamics, and potential growth opportunities.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and briefings for decision-making, global board meetings, and other key international events.
  • Facilitate executive meetings, ensuring effective communication, follow-up on action items, and fostering alignment across geographically dispersed teams.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a small but important high-performing strategic planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within an international context.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, supporting their individual growth and career progression across different international markets.
  • Encourage cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive collective success and maximize the potential of a diverse workforce.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Strategy Consulting background or proven experience strategic planning, business development, or a similar leadership role within the international software industry, preferably within Germany or the European market.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze international market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels within the context of global operations.
  • Solid project management skills, including experience leading international software development projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams in different geographic regions.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting global deadlines.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker, with a passion for continuous improvement within an international context.
