HRIS Analyst
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Serve as the go-to subject matter expert and administrator for the systems used across the organization (Workday, Peakon, BambooHR, Recruitee, CultureAmp, TravelPerk).
Assess current HR systems and their utilization; identify and recommend improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS.
Work with the rest of the People & Culture team, Finance, and IT to maintain and improve the HRIS, including configuration, end-user access and system efficiency, as well as compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Maintain HR data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit HR data and troubleshoot irregularities. Perform master data entry and support data governance processes.
Support critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS.
Support in the maintaining of HR data tools, reporting, and dashboards.
Produce and deliver standard (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and customized HR reports, and presents findings and recommendations to the HRIS Manager and other company leaders.
Respond to HR data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.
Provide user training and hands-on support, and prepare training materials, guides, and documentation.
Identify, recommend, and program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
Adress a high volume of system-related activities in a timely fashion while maintaining a high level of quality and internal customer satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR, Economics, Econometrics, Social science, or Business Administration.
2+ years of relevant HR experience.
1+ years of relevant HRIS system experience.
1+ year of relevant data analytics experience.
Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Proficiency with G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems.
Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
Ability to keep information confidential.
Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with data visualizations using Power BI is a plus.
Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics is a plus.
Working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
