Role Overview
The Manager, Business Data Analytics will act as the analytics business partner to every team at Chaos that runs on data. You will build and develop the Business Data Analytics team’s analytical capability while staying deeply hands-on with analytics production. The role will have responsibility for the intake, quality, and delivery of analytical outputs across the business, from commercial metrics like ARR, conversions, GRR, and retention, to product usage, operational analytics, and ad-hoc cross-functional analysis, translating business questions into rigorous, decision-ready insight.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and develop the BDA team of 3 by managing performance, build analytical capability, and create clear ownership, while staying hands-on with production.
Serve as the analytics business partner to the whole organisation with a primary focus on Revenue, Finance, Product, Operations, and any other function requiring data-driven insight.
Oversee and ensure prompt delivery of ARR, conversions, GRR, usage, attribution, retention, CHS dashboards, and cross-functional analytical requests.
Manage the analytical demand queue through effective measures to ensure that priority requests are met and find ways to automate the demand queue to ensure prompt delivery of service.
Co-own KPI and metric definition with functional stakeholders, validate measurability and feasibility of proposed metrics for Revenue, Finance, Product, and Operations.
Build the data layer that feeds board and investor reporting, partnering with RevOps on the revenue narrative and with Finance and leadership on the broader business story.
Translate business needs from all functions into technical specifications for the Data Engineering & BI team.
Partner with Data Engineering & BI on infrastructure and pipeline requirements that support analytics delivery.
Maintain insight quality feedback loops with all stakeholder functions and continuously raise the analytical bar.
Job requirements
Required Experience
5+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or a data-focused role, with people management experience.
Experience in taking a hands on approach to analytics production combined with team leadership.
Deep experience across commercial analytics (ARR, retention, conversion, GRR) and cross-functional analytics (product, operational, financial).
Ability to manage a high-volume, cross-functional analytical demand queue and prioritise effectively.
Experience defining KPIs and working with BI and data engineering teams to bring them to life.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders across the organisation.
Required Skills

Strong analysis abilities, and skilled at reading and interpreting data.
Build trusting relationships with stakeholders through consistent delivery.
Comfortable managing competing priorities and translating complexity into clear outputs.
Fluent English required.
