Role Overview

The Manager, Channel Sales AMER at Chaos Software serves as the global lead for Chaos’s Growth & Emerging Markets function while directly leading the AMER channel sales team.

The role owns the overarching commercial strategy for high-growth and emerging markets globally, building the frameworks, playbooks, and partner structures that unlock indirect revenue at scale across new and developing economies. Regionally, it drives channel revenue growth, partner performance, and market expansion across North, Latin, and South America. This role requires a commercially driven leader with deep experience in channel sales and partner management within the software or SaaS space, with a strong track record in international market development and the ability to operate effectively across a global matrix.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the AMER channel sales team, setting clear individual performance quotas, managing KPIs, and building a high-performance culture focused on commercial excellence and accountability.

  • Own AMER channel revenue targets, consistently achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual Net New ARR and renewal goals through pipeline management and partner performance oversight.

  • Develop and execute the AMER channel sales plan, optimising partner coverage across key markets and segments including AEC and M&E across North, Latin, and South America.

  • Serve as global lead for Chaos’s Growth & Emerging Markets function, owning the commercial frameworks, regional playbooks, and tiering structures that capture indirect business in high-growth and emerging markets globally.

  • Design and refine market entry and partner activation strategies suited to early-stage indirect sales ecosystems, identifying the right partner profiles, commercial structures, and enablement approaches for each market.

  • Collaborate and align with regional channel managers across EMEA and APAC, sharing frameworks and best practice to support consistent global execution while respecting local market dynamics.

  • Personally manage relationships with key strategic partner accounts across the Americas, acting as an executive point of contact where commercial complexity or scale requires it.

  • Establish commercial governance across the partner portfolio: overseeing partner agreements, program tiers, and compliance with established terms and policies.

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product teams to execute regional campaigns, partner events, and software release readiness.

  • Drive forecast accuracy and pipeline discipline across the team, maintaining CRM hygiene and ensuring performance data is reliable and actionable.

  • Act as a player-coach, personally engaging in key partner deals and relationships while systematically developing individual team members, setting clear performance expectations, and managing underperformance decisively.

Job requirements

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in channel sales and partner management within the software or SaaS space, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity managing teams across multiple time zones or geographies.

  • Demonstrated track record of quota attainment and overachievement in channel sales leadership.

  • Proven experience driving commercial growth in emerging and international markets, including LATAM or similar high-growth regions, through partner recruitment, market entry strategies, and building indirect sales frameworks suited to early-stage and developing economies.

  • Substantive experience working with international channel partners across diverse markets, with a clear understanding of how partner dynamics, commercial structures, and enablement needs vary by region.

  • Experience operating within a matrix organisation, with a track record of influencing and aligning peers across regions without direct authority.

  • Strong understanding of the AEC and/or M&E industries and the VAR and channel partner networks that serve them; direct experience selling into or through these ecosystems is required.

Required Skills

  • Commercially sharp and data-led: reads pipeline health, partner performance, and market signals accurately, and uses that intelligence to make sound decisions on where to invest, expand, or pull back. Solid grounding in SaaS business models, licensing structures, and indirect revenue mechanics is expected.

  • Builds trust with partners as genuine commercial stakeholders: understands the partner’s business model, margin structure, and growth objectives, and designs programs and conversations that create mutual value rather than one-sided compliance.

  • Communicates with credibility at executive level: able to represent Chaos with C-level partner stakeholders and internal leadership alike, adjusting communication style to the audience while maintaining clarity and strategy.

  • Navigates matrix structures effectively: influences and aligns regional peers through clear reasoning and strong strength of argument rather than positional authority, and brings a collaborative rather than competitive mindset to cross-regional work.

  • Develops people deliberately: sets clear individual expectations, creates structured development opportunities, and addresses underperformance directly and constructively.

  • Fluency in English required; professional proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a strong advantage for emerging markets engagement.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Power BI or equivalent tools; comfortable maintaining forecast accuracy and reporting discipline across the team.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time across the Americas and occasionally globally.

We welcome people who value teamwork, stick to their commitments and are curious to explore new ways for achieving mastery. If you believe that you are a good match for the job, just send us your CV in English.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Confidentiality of all applications is assured.
