We are evolving our People Operations function across EMEA toward greater consistency, efficiency, and scalability. For this purpose we’re hiring a driven People Operations Partner to support EMEA from Sofia.
This position is primarily focused on high-quality people operations execution, combined with continuous improvement of processes and systems. You’ll own the employee lifecycle end-to-end, ensure Workday data integrity, run payroll & benefits, and help build scalable, automated people operations processes.
The role is ideal for someone with strong HR operations foundations who is motivated to improve how things work, step by step, in a collaborative international environment.
What you’ll do
Execute hire-to-retire processes (onboarding, contracts, changes, offboarding) and documentation.
Own Workday data accuracy and support reportings.
Prepare multi-country payroll inputs and manage benefits administration.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and clear support.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and support audits.
Support on implementing, introducing, and optimizing policies.
Collaborate with People Ops leads to automate processes and standardize workflows, reducing manual work and improving efficiency across EMEA.
Collaborate with internal departments like HRBP, Talent Acquisition and Finance to streamline processes, maintaining clear internal "Rules of Engagement" to reduce cross-team friction.
Job requirements
What we need
2+ years in HR Ops / HR Generalist roles.
Hands-on HRIS experience (Workday is a plus).
Experience with payroll and benefits administration (EMEA, multi-country experience beneficial).
Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labor law.
Experience supporting or building automated workflows is an advantage.
Fluent Bulgarian and English (B2+) | German or Czech beneficial.
Excellent MS Office / Google Workspace skills.
