Principal UX Researcher

***This position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, with hybrid working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location.***


Main Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of UXR in empowering cross-functional stakeholders to make data-driven decisions

• Foster customer-centric culture by helping stakeholders better understand user needs and preferences across different segments

• Introduce and develop an ongoing product discovery practice in collaboration with Product Management stakeholders

• Plan and execute high effort/high impact foundational research to support strategic decisions in AEC and M&E domains

• Help implement holistic research practices across the company, by collaborating with Product, CS, Marketing and Sales leaders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research aligns with organizational goals and objectives

• Conduct primary and secondary user research, as well as evaluative and generative research. Work well with both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including but not limited to: journey mapping, surveys, interviews, usability studies and testing methods, early validation.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics, plan activities and ensure validity and reliability of data

• Support continuous UX KPIs and metrics measurement

• Democratize research within Product Management, Sales and Marketing teams, while also maintaining standards, validity and quality of data Increase the overall research maturity across the business, socialize research

• Create and maintain a central research repository

• Magnify the impact of research for strategic decision-making, while also ensuring diversified sample size and representation of customers outside of large studios and architecture firms

• Prepare guidelines, templates and other enablement materials to speed up research democratization across the company

• Mentor UX designers, PMs and other functions in executing high-quality research

• Ensure all data is handled with care and in full compliance with privacy standards

• 10+ years of mixed hands on research experience in UX and product research, Early validation, Market research

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data

• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research, as well as generative and evaluative research

• Experience with UX metrics and KPIs

• Experience with research democratization and enablement

• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly

• Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and innovative thinking

• A collaborative mindset, with a passion for teamwork and knowledge sharing

Advantages:

• Familiarity with AEC and/or 3D software and terminology

• Familiarity with rendering is a strong advantage
