We are now looking for a Sales Director of Global Key Accounts who will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company’s most strategic global accounts. This senior leadership role requires expertise in strategic sales management, cross-functional collaboration, and global market knowledge to maximize revenue, foster long-term partnerships, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The Director will lead a team of key account managers, set sales strategies, and drive execution across key regions and industries.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the global account strategy for key accounts, aligning with the company’s overall goals and vision. Ensure strategies are implemented globally.

  • Identify opportunities to expand revenue across key accounts by developing long-term strategic plans tailored to each customer’s needs.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of Key Account Managers.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them build relationships with key customers and deliver on revenue targets.

  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent in the sales organization, fostering a culture of success, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Build and maintain deep relationships with C-suite executives and other senior decision-makers within key accounts.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing ongoing support, strategic advice, and problem resolution to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Ensure that clients see the value of Chaos products or services and maintain long-term loyalty.

  • Drive and execute on global sales plans to increase revenue and market share within key accounts as well as other similar profile prospects or future key accounts. Measure this with NRR > 100.

  • Develop, negotiate, and close complex deals, ensuring long-term profitability and value for both the client and the company.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations) to deliver tailored solutions and support to clients.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to proactively identify new opportunities and potential threats.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure that the company’s offerings are aligned with market demands.

  • Ensure that the sales team is well-equipped with up-to-date competitive insights, sales tools, and training materials.

  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for global key account sales, tracking progress against targets.

  • Provide regular reports to Executive Leadership on sales performance, key account health, and strategic initiatives.

  • Establish a Key Account Program allowing KAs to develop peer to peer relationships, have executive sponsorship, attend exclusive events and provide a feedback channel for Chaos.

  • Ensure that key accounts receive consistent, high-quality service across all touchpoints of the customer journey.

  • Lead contract negotiations with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that support long-term partnerships.

  • Migrate select KAs to enterprise, multi-year agreements defending and expanding the associated revenue.

  • Leverage existing and develop customer retention programs to ensure KAs GRR is above average.

Job requirements

  • Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team.

  • Proficient in B2B (preferably IT/software) sales and/or account management.

  • Experienced in mutli-national working environment - B2B/B2C.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with sales teams & customers.

  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and sales skills.

  • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically.

  • Fluent in English - written and spoken.

  • Familiar with the industry, AEC, Gaming, Design, VFX and/or previous experience within CAD, CG software sales will be considered an advantage.

Key technical skills:

  • Proficient in using Google/MS productivity apps (excel/sheets is a must; docs/word; slides/powerpoint, etc.) and email platforms.

  • Proficient in working with CRM systems (accounts/leads/ opportunity management, ticketing) - preferably MS Dynamics.

  • Proficient in working with BI tools - preferably Power BI.
