Job description

***This position is based in Bulgaria and Germany with remote/hybrid working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location.***

Chaos is a leading global software company that provides world-class visualization and design solutions, empowering creative minds to bring ideas to life.

For over twenty years, Chaos has developed innovative technologies serving multiple industries, including architecture and design, media and entertainment, and product e-commerce. Chaos’ solutions help architects, designers, VFX artists/animators, and other creative professionals share ideas, optimize workflows, and create immersive experiences.

Headquartered in Karlsruhe, Germany, Chaos is a global company with offices in 11 cities worldwide. In 2022, Chaos and Enscape merged, bringing together two industry-leading companies into one. Since then, Chaos has continued to grow with the additions of Cylindo, AXYZ Design, and Evolve Lab, further expanding our expertise and solutions across architecture, design, e-commerce, and AI. We’re building a new Education Marketing function to grow Chaos’ student community and turn today’s learners into tomorrow’s professionals. This role will oversee our global student growth programs — from university partnerships and tutor/ambassador networks to community activations and student product go-to-market strategies. You’ll combine strategic program design with hands-on execution in close collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Academic partners.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and own the global student marketing strategy for Chaos (with a strong focus on Enscape).

  • Identify and remove student adoption barriers through ongoing research on the market, competitors, and student insights.

  • Build and scale university, educator, tutors and student-organisation partnerships.

  • Design and run campus activation programs (workshops, guest lectures, studio sessions, challenges, career events).

  • Create and manage a Chaos Student Ambassador program (recruit, train, enable, measure impact).

  • Plan and execute student-focused digital campaigns across Gen-Z channels (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).

  • Drive student-relevant content production (tutorials, portfolio challenges, workflow tips, success stories).

  • Collaborate with Product, Education, Sales, and Brand teams to align offers, messaging, and roadmap needs.

  • Track and report performance across the student funnel (awareness → signup → activation → retention → graduate conversion).

  • Run experiments (A/B tests on offers, messaging, channels) and scale what improves adoption and retention.

  • Represent Chaos at student and education events; maintain a visible presence in visualisation communities.

  • Ensure consistent brand voice and high-quality student experiences across all touchpoints.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Proven student/campus marketing expertise - hands-on experience building student acquisition or ambassador programs, ideally in software/creative-tech or AEC/Viz.

  • Education or marketing credentials - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design/Visualisation, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Data-driven growth and analytics skills - confident with funnel metrics, cohort/retention analysis, dashboards, and experimentation (GA4, Looker/Tableau, HubSpot, or similar).

  • Deep knowledge of visualisation ecosystems — familiarity with AEC/ArchViz/VFX or realtime workflows and tools (e.g., Enscape, V-Ray, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, Unreal/Blender).

Advantages

  • Experience in the AEC / ArchViz / visualisation industry (worked with or marketed to architects, designers, BIM/visualisation students).

  • Established university network (existing relationships with professors, labs, student orgs, or campus programs in key regions).

  • Experience with education licensing models (freemium, campus/site licenses, academic procurement, student trial funnels).

  • Hands-on proficiency with Chaos tools (Enscape, V-Ray, Corona) and/or adjacent tools (Unreal Engine, Blender, D5, Lumion, Twinmotion).

Key technical skills

  • Understands the students well and has experience defining marketing strategies

  • Has a hands-on execution mindset to start executing himself for tests
