Senior QA Engineer

***This position is based in Karlsruhe, Germany, or Sofia, Bulgaria with hybrid working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location.***

Main Responsibilities:

• You will be leading testing of new Enscape features within complex development environments, ensuring they meet completeness, accuracy, and usability standards.

• Design and execution of manual and automated test cases (functional, performance, regression) is a part of your daily tasks to facilitate continuous testing and software improvement.

• Your role will involve refining the overall QA process and quality metrics, while optimizing the testing workflow within your development team.

• You will evaluate and analyze test coverage, identify gaps, and implement strategies to eliminate them, ensuring comprehensive testing.

• You will be in charge of defining and managing test plans for various types of Enscape releases, ensuring testing is thorough and aligned with project goals.

• You will manage test design and expand automated test coverage for a cross-platform desktop application across various configurations.

• You have several years of professional experience (5+ years) in the field of software quality assurance within software development.

• You have a strong ability to establish, analyze, and continuously enhance QA processes, leveraging comprehensive knowledge of testing methodologies and tools to improve product quality.

• You have planned and managed release testing, systematically backtracked post-release issues, and implemented measures to prevent their recurrence.

• You hold a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or possess a relevant QA certification.

• You are able to work independently yet enjoy contributing to a team as a whole with a commitment to delivering a high-quality product.

• You bring experience in UI test automation for desktop applications.

• You communicate proficiently in English.
