The impact you’ll have in this role:

Chaos Cylindo is a cutting-edge 3D product visualisation platform for commerce that makes creating, managing, and distributing photorealistic product visuals easy, from creating digital clones of customer products to managing the V-Ray-based production pipeline and distributing the content to our customer’s ecommerce platforms.

As a Senior Software Developer (Backend) at Chaos Cylindo, you will join our cross-functional Content Creation team. The team is responsible for our 3D production pipeline and tooling to utilise the created 3D assets, like our web-based 3D editor.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with design and product teams from brainstorming to deployment, creating seamless product experiences.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code as part of an agile development team.

• Participate in architecture discussions and help steer the technical direction of new features.

• Troubleshoot and fix issues to keep everything running smoothly.

• Bring fresh ideas to the table, challenge norms, and explore solutions through rapid prototyping.

• Share your knowledge, inspire your team, and help elevate the organization’s problem-solving game.

• Backend Enthusiast: Solid experience building and deploying .NET (C#) applications, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

• Cloud Native: Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), event driven architecture, and cloud platforms (ideally GCP).

• Team Player: Excited to collaborate in a cross-functional team, sharing ideas and building tools that power great products.

• Pipeline Pro: Experience with 3D production pipelines or a strong willingness to learn the nuances of working with 3D assets and render pipelines.

• Problem Solver: A knack for debugging, optimising, and improving large-scale systems.

• Bonus Points: Experience with V-Ray, 3D modelling (3ds Max, Blender), or infrastructure as code.
