Job description

As a Working Student in our Social Media & Community team, you will support the day-to-day operations of our brand’s online presence. From helping with content scheduling and community engagement to assisting in influencer campaigns and reporting, this is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic international marketing team.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Support the planning, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)

  • Assist in community management (replying to comments, flagging user insights, etc.)

  • Research social media trends and contribute to brainstorming sessions

  • Help track performance metrics and prepare reports

  • Support influencer research, outreach, and content coordination

  • Assist with administrative tasks like updating content calendars, gathering assets, and coordinating with internal teams

  • Providing support in content creation

Job requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university program (Marketing, Communications, Media, or similar)

  • A strong interest in social media and digital communication

  • A good visual sense and eye for content that works well on social media

  • Experience with Canva or other visual tools is a big plus

  • Strong communication skills in English (German is a bonus)

  • Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and team spirit

  • Ideally available for 20 hours per week

Advantage

Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for creating visual content.

Key technical skills

  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)

  • Experience with content creation tools, especially Canva (or similar tools like Adobe Express, Figma, etc.)

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Buffer – or willingness to learn)

  • Understanding of social media metrics and ability to assist in tracking engagement and reach

  • Basic copywriting skills for captions, replies, and community posts

  • Comfort with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for collaboration and reporting

  • Strong research skills, especially for identifying trends, influencers, and relevant content

  • Good visual sense and ability to support layout and design choices for posts and stories
