Website Analytics Manager
***This position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria with hybrid working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location.***
Main Responsibilities:
Analytics
Monitor and analyze website traffic using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track user behavior, engagement, and drop-off points.
Implement and manage event tracking through Google Tag Manager (GTM) for accurate data collection.
Work with SQL & BigQuery to extract, analyze, and report on website performance trends.
Build and maintain dashboards in Google Looker Studio for clear, actionable reporting.
Landing Page Creation
Conceptualize, build, and maintain campaign landing pages, incorporating UX and SEO best practices.
Oversee website releases, ensuring timely, high-quality updates.
Performance Improvements
Develop structured A/B tests to improve conversion rates, utilizing data-driven hypotheses and statistical analysis.
Collaborate with marketing, UX, and development teams to implement data-driven improvements.
Job requirements
Professional Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in website management or a similar role.
Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Hotjar).
Familiarity with web content management platforms (e.g. Wordpress, or visual website builders, such as Webflow).
Understanding of key UX, SEO and CRO principles.
Technical Skills:
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – Advanced proficiency in setting up goals, analyzing user journeys, and reporting.
Google Tag Manager (GTM) – Experience with tracking setup, event configuration, and troubleshooting.
SQL & BigQuery – Ability to query large datasets and extract actionable insights.
Google Looker Studio (Data Studio) – Building automated reports and dashboards.
A/B Testing & CRO – Experience designing structured tests to optimize user experiences and conversion rates.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to translate website data into actionable insights.
Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking.
Strong communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, UX, and development teams.
