Job description
As a Working Student in the marketing team, you will support daily operations, contribute to campaign execution and help scale marketing activities across various channels. This role is ideal for a curious and proactive student looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional marketing environment.
Depending on your interests and skills, you will have the opportunity to work with one or more of the following teams:
Content Marketing (e.g. competitor analysis & screening, content research, AI content)
Social Media (e.g. content scheduling, community engagement, influencer campaigns, reporting)
Graphic Designer (e.g. digital, print, motion creatives for marketing campaigns, social, website, email, internal initiatives)
Internal Communication (e.g. intranet, newsletters, emails, online events)
Strategy & Operations (e.g. translation workflows, proofreading and review processes, localization strategy)
Essential duties and responsibilities
Tasks will vary depending on team and scope and do not apply to all roles:
Assist with content creation for email, social media, website and internal communications
Support campaign planning and execution, including scheduling and asset coordination
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors and market opportunities
Help with performance tracking and analysis through data collection and reportingCoordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of marketing tasks
Maintain and update marketing assets and content libraries
Contribute ideas and improvements to marketing processes and user engagement strategies
Job requirements
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, other languages welcome (Bulgarian, German)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently when needed
Passionate about marketing, digital trends, and creative problem-solving
Advantages
Prior experience as a working student or intern in marketing or related areas
Familiarity with CMS platforms, social media tools, or basic SEO concepts
Experience using analytics or marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Canva)
Graphic design, video editing, or copywriting skills are a plus
Key technical skills
Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides)
Comfortable working with social media platforms and email tools
Ability to work with spreadsheets
Interest in learning marketing automation and analytics tools
Please note: This is a working student position, limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester. Applicants must be currently enrolled at a university and provide valid proof of enrollment (“Immatrikulationsbescheinigung” in Germany).
